"Gabrielle possesses a wonderful set of talents that shed new light on any subject. Whether it is fiction or commentary, I have yet to find myself unchanged after reading her work. Even though she speaks to the modern girl, this old-fashion guy still finds his life dramatically altered by her words."

"With honesty and passion, Gabrielle Pickle lends a fresh and inspiring voice to timeless values as she creatively uses language to paint an entertaining and challenging picture of the Christian life for readers all over the world. Her writing is a genuinely developed image that speaks directly to the heart of men and women of every generation, though intentionally impacting young women with every chapter and paragraph. It's humor mixes with desire, modernity coupled with morality, and humanity wrestling with divinity."

Why does anyone become a Writer?
I write to because God gave me a gift and told me to use it for the advancement of His Kingdom. I write because it is the ministry, burden, and passion that God has placed on my heart. I write because I am absolutely enchanted by the written word. And honestly, I write because I cannot stop.
~ Gabrielle
Gabrielle writes Non-Fiction:
Gabrielle writes Devotionals:
Personally, I abhor devotionals. I always end up spending more time in the devotional than in the Bible - which is totally my fault, but caused me to swear off devotionals forever....until I wrote one by accident. But my devotions would be better labeled as "A Daily Kick-in-the-Pants toward Jesus." These books in no way replace Scripture, but serve as a tool that constantly sends you to the word and gives you the tools to dig deep. These "devotionals" are not for the faint-hearted; you will be challenged, convicted, and inspired.
Gabrielle writes Bible Studies:
I am in Seminary to get the language background and theological tools needed to write Bible Studies. As a college student, I longed for a deep study that not only taught me the Word but also taught me how to study the Word. I was too busy to fill out four pages of application questions as required for most studies, but still wanted the Word to change my life. So, I begin to write Bible Studies for myself: reading commentaries, doing Hebrew word-studies, and meditating on the text. Now I teach these studies to women and teens!
Gabrielle writes Young Adult:
Not only have I worked with teen girls in Bible Studies and Girl's Ministry, I actually was one just a few years ago! I know well the issues that confront today's teen: eating disorders, dating issues, pregnancy, depression, self-worth, and abuse. I write both fiction and non-fiction to helps reveal God's love and plan for these girls.
Gabrielle writes Children's:
Eighteen found me as a camp counselor for a cabin full of inquisitive nine-year-olds. They asked some seriously deep questions about Scripture that I couldn't answer in a simple way that they could grasp. I was stumped, but God gave me story after story that painted pictures of biblical truth to answer their questions and entertained squiggly little kids.
My non-fiction is like my conversations: long-winded and a little random, but always the truth. Truth that comes both from my personal experiences and my education; filtered through the ultimate truth of the Word of God. God has taught me a great deal in life, and I am ecstatic to have the opportunity to pass along His Truth. Topics currently include girl-issues, boy-issues, following Jesus issues, and even one book just about red-heads! I must admit, I don’t pull punches in my writing. I tell it like it is. But, chances are, it will be written in a pink font, which makes everything a little better!
And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.
